OUR STORY

Since 2010 we have been merging old world techniques with new age technologies. In doing so, we are able to provide products that are not only reliable permanent installations but also improve upon construction schedules and client relations. At European Stone, it is our goal to provide our clients with the best support and follow-through of our trade possible. We work hard to help our clients plan, design, bid on, and ultimately complete more projects. Through our extensive experience in all aspects of tile and stone installations, we have learned the best practices and principles in virtually all scenarios.
Not only is it in our installations in which we use older practices; it is also in our business and employment practices. We understand the value of treating our employees as assets and respecting them as such. By being able to grow our own talent in-house and develop our own techniques that are passed down, we are able to provide unmatched installation speed and quality.

Erjon Laci

Chief Operating Partner

Erjon Laci's love for stonework began at the tender age of 14 when he began an apprenticeship under master craftsmen in the country of Greece. Mastering his trade, Laci's work included building beautiful traditional stone home from the ground up around the Greek Isles. His attention to detail and craftsmanship afforded him the opportunity to work on prestigious assignments such as stone garden walls for luxury resort properties in Greece.

In 2008, Laci relocated with his family to the U.S.A. where he has continued providing custom stonework to residential and commercial customers. Laci's expertise and workmanship gained through nearly 20 years of experience and his hand-selected staff of artisans set European Stone apart from the competition.


In his free time, Erjon loves to spend time with his family and friends. Erjon is an avid outdoorsman who loves soccer and watching the Panthers. You can always find Erjon out in the yard working on a project or by his fire pit grilling.

Filicia Rigas

Managing Partner

Filicia Rigas and Erjon Laci started European Stone 10 years ago. Filicia brings a vast knowledge and experience in the day to day operation of running a successful business. Filicia gained her experience having worked in and later operating her families Southpark based business of 36 years.

In her personal time, Filicia enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. Planning get-togethers and welcoming people into her kitchen to share a meal is one of the things she enjoys most.

Marcus Miller

Project Manager

After withdrawing from college it was my father’s goal to "scare" me into going back to school. He did so by providing me with a trial run as a helper at one of his friends’ tile and stone companies. It wasn't long after that when we completed the largest residential tile and stone installation happening at the time in the greater Charlotte area. Upon completion of that project, I decided to move into the commercial tile and stone world and after moving between a few companies was granted an opportunity to learn more of the industry. Coming from the field, I feel I am able to provide a unique perspective when it comes to planning and pricing projects.
